- Mixing with Black Pepper - the natural substance piperine in the black pepper enhances the absorption of curcumin, so when you are cooking with turmeric don't forget to add some black peppers to the food.
- Mixing with Fats - turmeric is fat-soluble , which means it dissolves or breaks down in fat, and very low solubility in water. ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this. Turmeric is definitely a wonderful root. I injured my neck muscle (sternocleidomastoid) a few weeks ago when I was playing with my kids to the point that it got quite swollen. When I heard about turmeric I decided to give it a try. Swelling was gone the next day, the pain subsided and within two days I was horsing around with my kiddos again (more safely of course ;))!
